The general teaching approach applied to the course is “learning through own experience” – the course will deliberately be designed the way that it will be applicable directly for the SNCh parents in future trainings. Therefore, by attending the present courses as participants attendants will be enabled to learn from 2 perspectives: 1) the one of the future educator/trainer (specialist perspective); 2) the one of a participant/parent (participant perspective). Collecting own experience from those 2 perspectives will be fruitful for leading effective education in future courses for SNCh parents because it will enable recognise specific education needs of the parents and respond to them adequately.
There will also be applied the so called active training methods: role-playing, brainstorming, problem-solving method in teamworking, discussions, presentations (including multimedia presentations), mini lectures.
